She Smiles!

I got some more pics from Scott and Tamara. Look at that sweet smile!! I also got the treat of chatting on Facebook with Tamara : )

Today they decided that Tamara was going to carry Emerson and she didn't like it at first but eventually calmed down. They are hopeful that this is a breakthrough and Miss E will be lovin on Mommy in no time.

They visited the Chen Temple in Guangzhou

Here Emerson's name is being added to a scroll

Lobby of the beautiful White Swan hotel (I miss that breakfast buffet!)

Tomorrow is a total free day so they will likely shop all day!! They miss Garrison terribly and are anxious to get home to their family of four!

Guangzhou at last

They have arrived at the White Swan and I am sure Tamara is enjoying all the great shopping on the island.

Here is the email I got from Scott and the pictures!

We made it to Guangzhou! We were so ready to get out of Nanning and it is beautiful in Guangzhou. Had a good day with Miss LuLu. Her personality is finally starting to come out. She even laughed for Tamara today. We went and had her medical exam first thing when we got here. That was a real experience, but all went well. Dr. seemed to think that with proper nutrition and the heart repair she should catch up quickly. Had a good time walking around the streets near the hotel this afternoon and had a great meal at a Thai place this evening. Just gave her her first bath with us and it went about as expected - we had been warned that she did not like baths.
